Glow School Disco Structure:
Elevate your school’s disco with our incredible Glow School Disco! Watch as the children rock the dance floor in white or neon outfits while we enhance the experience with mesmerising UV Black Lights. Our team of talented entertainers go beyond just playing music – they create an atmosphere filled with endless excitement and happiness that will fill the room!
What we do:
- Setting us apart is our dedicated professional entertainer, who will captivate the stage with non-stop hosting and dancing throughout the entire disco.
- As pioneers in the entertainment industry, we pride ourselves in maintaining a dynamic environment where our qualified entertainer will orchestrate a structured disco and singing extravaganza, transforming every child into a dazzling POP STAR sensation!
- Get the kids to wear a touch of white and add some neon so they glow in the dark with our amazing UV Black Lights!
- Our kids party entertainer will teach funky dance moves as well as encouraging the children’s own freestyle dancing.
- Our entertainer will select eager children to take centre stage, singing their hearts out on real microphones. This technique is employed to ensure that all children remain engaged at the forefront of the event, minimizing distractions up the back of the venue.

We encourage the kids to dress in neon and/or white attire to enhance the luminous effect under our dazzling glow lights. Depending on the size of your school, we usually divide children into two groups, (Kindy – Year 2, Year 3 to Year 6) providing a tailored experience for each age bracket, ensuring that every child enjoys a disco perfectly suited to their age and tastes.

FAQ's
Why is it better to split the children up into their age groups, e.g. Prep – Year 2 and then Year 3 – Year 6?
We have discovered over the 20 years of running School Discos that children respond best when they are dancing to music that is age appropriate. Also the younger group tend to like a few team building activities, while the older group prefer more singing and dancing with less activities. However it is not always possible to have 2 disco sessions, especially if your school is smaller in size, in that case it is best to have the children in one dance session altogether.
We have had DJ’s in the past and the children just end up running around the hall?
We are not DJ’s, we are an entertainment company. We specialise in children’s entertainment. You are paying for an experienced children’s entertainer who will be hosting the entire disco. We have over 20 years’ experience in what songs and activities are best suited for primary school children. Your entertainer will be up dancing and encouraging the children for the entire duration of the disco. Also, always remember we can tailor the disco to suit your children at each disco.
Do we need to have any supervisors in the hall during the disco?
We recommend you have at least 4 supervisors around the hall for the duration of the disco. Your entertainer will keep all the children engaged, however you still need a few supervisors to ensure the safety of the children throughout the event.
Can you have the disco outdoors?
Our Glow School Discos are required to be hosted indoors to maximise the GLOW effect of the UV lights.
Can we give any special instructions in how we want our disco formatted?
Of course you can. We welcome any notes and information so that we can best achieve what your school would like to get out of the disco.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled disco start time. This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any special song requests or discuss any requirements.
Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?
All the entertainer will need is a table and a power point to plug the equipment in.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved by the ‘Working with Children Check.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
Yes. Your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your venue as possible. There is a lot of heavy equipment to unload (and reload) and we want the disco to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your venue is located.
Are you insured?
Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance.
What decorations do I need?
We provide two fantastic disco lights as well as the UV Blacklights; these are really effective in creating a spectacular GLOW disco atmosphere. If you want any other form of decoration feel free, however please avoid free floating balloons, they are a big distraction, unless stuck on the walls. Also, any decorations must be neon/fluoro otherwise you won’t be able to see them.
