Sports Party Structure:

Ignite your child’s love for sports with our Sports Party! It’s the ultimate blend of athletic excitement and fun, offering young sports fans a one-of-a-kind party experience.

What we do:

  • Age group: 5 – 13 years
  • Your Bop Sports Coach will focus on teaching the children basic skills of the sport the birthday child has chosen.
  • This includes a warm up, basic game rules and if space and players permit, a short game in the chosen sport.
  • Please rest assured that the sports skills are adjusted for the number and age of the children present at your party.
  • The Sports Coach will also give the children a short drink break halfway through the party to help the children re-energise.

FAQ's

Do I need a big space for the sports section?

Yes you need to have a big backyard or access to park or open area, at least 8m x 8m or thereabouts. This can also be done in a large hall.

Can we choose our sports?

Yes. For a 2hr Sports Party you can choose 2 x sports. For a 1.5hr Sports Party you can choose 1 x sport – with the second half focus being party games and team fun. For a Disco + Sports Combo party you can choose 1 x sport.

Does each child receive an award?

No, only the birthday child receives a special Medal for being the champion birthday child.

How many children should I invite?

We suggest 15 – 30 children is the ideal number to create the party atmosphere. However we can do parties with less or more, we always make sure all the children are engaged and having fun. Please ask us for extra children charges.

DISCO AND SPORTS COMBO PARTY FAQs

What if on the day the children prefer the sport section or the disco more?

Please remember with all our parties we always tailor the party to suit your children at your party. If they are more interested in the sports then we do more sport, if they are more interested in the disco, then we do more disco.

Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?

All the entertainer will need is a table and a power point to plug the equipment in for the disco & just a big, open space for the sports section.

What decorations do I need?

We provide two really cool disco lights; these are really effective in creating a spectacular disco atmosphere. If you want any other form of decoration feel free, however please avoid free floating balloons, they are a big distraction. If you really love balloons and streamers, it is best to stick them to the wall. Also avoid chairs in the disco space, the children will be dancing and can sometimes feel self-conscience if adults are sitting and watching, especially in the beginning of a party.

What time will the entertainer arrive?

Your entertainer  will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled party start time. This gives them adequate time to meet you and the birthday child and to set up and be ready to go. This also gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any song requests or discuss any special requirements.

When do the children have a food break?

We always give the children a 15 minute food break in the middle of a 2hr or 1.5hr party. If the children have eaten beforehand or will eat after, we still need to give them a drink break and the entertainer will use this time to put special tattoos on the children.

When do we do the birthday cake?

We always sing Happy Birthday and cut the birthday cake 10 minutes before the end of the party. Then while you are cutting up the cake we will take the children away to do the award presentation. This allows you to cut up the cake without all the children around you.

Do I need to do anything during the party?

No, you need to relax and enjoy yourself. You should be socialising with your guests, taking photos and drinking champagne…hehe. The only thing you will need to do is prepare the food in the food break. The entertainer will organise the children around the table, serve the food and poor drinks.

Are the entertainers ‘screened’?

Yes all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved by the ‘Working with Children Commission’.

Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?

Yes the entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your house/venue as possible. There is a lot of heavy equipment to carry and we want the disco to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also don’t forget to give the entertainer clear directions on exactly where your house/venue is located. It is also a great idea to stick a balloon on your front gate.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance. If you are hiring a hall and they ask you for insurance, please let us know and we will send them a ‘certificate of currency’. This way you will not have to pay extra for insurance.
