Solve the Mystery Incursion Structure:
Embark on a mind boggling adventure with our Solve the Mystery Incursion at your Vacation Care/OSHC centre! The mini detectives at your centre will need to unravel the case, where every clue leads to a discovery.
What we do:
- Before the junior detectives can get their hands on the mystery at hand, our Detective Entertainer will hide clues around your room. For this to be effective, the room cannot be empty, there needs to be spots where clues can be hidden.
- With the waiting to be discovered, it’s time to let the detectives loose to join forces in a race against the clock, cracking the case one clue at a time.
- Each clue will bring them one step closer to solving the chilling case of ‘Captain Hooks missing hand’.
- But wait, there’s more! The children will then dive into a real-life rendition of the popular ‘Among Us’ game.
- For the ‘Among Us’ activities, the master detective will set up tasks for the junior detectives. But there is an imposter ‘Among Us’!
- The aim of the game is to finish the tasks and reveal the imposter before they get the chance to terminate their crewmates.

2hr Mystery Incursion

We will split the children in half and run two x 60 minute sessions with 30 children at a time. This is capped at 60 children.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Travel Surcharge: Travel is calculated from the Melbourne City Centre.
Depending on location, travel fees will be quoted on enquiry.

FAQ's
Can the incursion be completed outdoors?
For our Mystery Incursion we require a combination of both inside and outside areas as the kids will be searching for clues. If you do not have an outdoor area, we would prefer indoors for the Mystery Incursion…this incursion doesn’t work if it’s an empty space because then we can’t hide any of the clues for the children to find.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time (this is with an allocated car spot within 20 metres from the incursion). This gives you an opportunity to ask questions, give any special requests or discuss any requirements.
When do the children have a drink or food break?
We always give the children at least a 15 minute drink break in the middle if the duration is more than 1.5hrs long. We have found that it is best to keep all the children together and give them one central time for the drink break. This will keep them energised and focused for the entire duration of the incursion. Please let us know if this is not suitable for your event.
Do I need to provide anything for the entertainer?
For the mystery incursion the only thing we require is the kids to be in a separate area while the entertainer is setting up. The entertainer will be hiding clues around the centre so it’s important that the kids don’t see that part during setup.
Do I need to provide a parking spot for the entertainer?
Yes. Your entertainer will need an allocated parking spot as close to your venue as possible. We want the incursion to run as smoothly as possible and on time. Please note you will need to pay for parking should free parking not be available. Also, please ensure you give the office clear directions on exactly where your venue is located.
Are you insured?
Bop till you Drop has $20 million dollars Public Liability Insurance.
Are the entertainers ‘screened’?
Yes all the staff and entertainers of Bop till you Drop have been approved by the ‘Working with Children Check’.
